Jedino što "appendage" ne znači isto što i "flatella" pa bi trebalo da napišete: " a long, threadlike appendage, especially a whiplike extension of certain cells or unicellular organisms that functions as an organ of locomotion" jer to objašnjava pojam izdanka ili flatele. :)

Asker: Hvala, ali znam za flagelum (u zagradama stoji u originalu flagele), tražim sinonim.

Asker: hvala Vam, znam da je flagellum uobičajeni prijevod, ali imam prije izdanak u zagradi pa to ne bi htjela izbacivati, iako, naravno, pravilo nije slijepo se držati teksta. Međutim, ako mi je tako u originalu, radije ću upotrijebiti i sinonim (appendage). Hvala!
