Science - Botany / weed control
Czech term or phrase: klíčící, vzcházející a vzešlé plevele
Ide o popis pôsobenia herbicídu, celá veta znie: Herbicid má hlavně kontaktní a částečně reziduální půdní účinek, účinkuje na klíčící, vzcházející a vzešlé plevele, zejména chundelku metlici a další jednoleté trávy a dvouděložné plevele.

Zatiaľ som pracovne použil frázu "sprouting, germinating and germinated weeds", ale nie som si istý, či to vlastne všetko nie sú synonymá. Ďakujem za akúkoľvek pomoc.

Viz: "Biologically speaking, there is no difference between sprouting and germination, but for most people watching a little green plant curl up from under the ground, "sprout" is the preferred term."

Asker: Ďakujem, ešte sa nad sprouting/germinating budem musieť zamyslieť, v každom prípade použitie rising ten problém elegantne rieši.

Post-emergent

Explanation:
Post-emergent herbicide = herbicide used on weeds that have already sprouted (as opposed to pre-emergent herbicide, which kills seeds)

Consider rewording the sentence

True, I have no idea what you're working with, Vladimir. But if it's a label and the audience is normal gardeners (not RNDr.), I would understand why he wouldn't write "post-emergentní" (or emerzná ?) for the Slovak label -- it's highly technical! (But in English it does not come across that way).
