neutral  Zdeněk Hartmann: Does cash fall within the meaning of "collateral"? In my experience, collateralls are mostly "things", or rather "property". But then, my experience is very limited.

Reference: deposit

Reference information:
jistota = kauce.

deposit (2)
anything given as security or in part payment: The boy returned the bottle and got his five-cent deposit back. They made a deposit on the house and signed a ten-year mortgage
