Czech term or phrase: psychické jevy
Can anyone help with this please? Not convinced that "psychological phenomena" is right, bearing in mind the definition here: https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychický_jev
"Psychické jevy dělíme do tří skupin dle jejich délky trvání.

psychické procesy
psychické stavy
psychické vlastnosti"

Apologies if it is blindingly obvious, but the more I Google it the more my head hurts

English translation:psychological phenomena
Explanation:
The word phenomenon does include and describe all three types - processes, states, and characteristics (or properties). That is - in English... The problem you have encountered, I believe, is with the meaning of "jevy" in Czech as intuitively it is describing more something of an event or process...
In my opinion the meaning is correct, feel free to remove your doubt :-)

disagree  Jiri Lonsky: "psychic phenomena" has a different connotation in English, so far as I know.

-> The difference between "psychological" and "psychic" is the same in English and in Czech. I cannot agree with you.

neutral  Hannah Geiger (X): I believe Jiri is correct here, Ivan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parapsychology#Early_physical_... Parapsychology is the study of alleged psychic phenomena

disagree  Ervin Sisak: 'psychic' indeed pertains to 'super-natural phenomena' and it is rarely used to relate to 'psyche' or the 'state of mind'
