agree  Suzan Hamer: Yes, if a man is determined to make a fool of himself, allow him to do so. I do think though that "there's nothing like" sounds a bit odd. I would say "then let him [do it]." Or "there's nothing you can do to stop him." Sounds like 2 ideas mixed together.
