What would be the appropriate translation fort hese words?
I have seen: wandeltraject hardlopen; wandelroute rennen. Or are these some of those words that are left in English?

Any help is appreciated in advance.

Ik vind "veldloop" net wat te beperkt.

hardlopen/rennen kan je weglaten. Veldlopen is altijd rennen, anders is het "wandelen in de natuur".

Maakt niet uit, NL is plat, maar ik heb wel degelijk over hellingen gerend. "Veld" hier is meer: buiten, in de ongerepte (woeste) natuur, in het vrije veld, dus niet op verharde wegen.

agree  freekfluweel: Kennelijk een specialisatie. Ik loop al geruime tijd niet meer hard; ik word al moe als ik het woord zie. Overigens een horror: half Engels-Nederlands. Trail race is dan niet ver meer ("race" staat overigens in vD). Meer context pas NA mijn antwoord.
