To unspool fait référence au déroulement de la pellicule de film.
Il faut donc préserver la réalité physique d'une d'action mécanique tout en gardant à l'esprit l'utilisation en contexte qui s'apparente à to be released ou sortir.
Il semble donc qu’être présenté soit la meilleure option.
Un sens proche (même si non équivalent) d'être sorti, tout en gardant l'idée d'une action personnelle plus que d'un concept abstrait, comme un projectionniste déroule une bobine.
