English term or phrase: net
What does "net" mean in this context? The author then mentions a tentacle, and I don't grasp what it has to do with a "net"...

"There are always determined adventurers willing to plunge deep into the sea to look for legendary ruins. It's beautiful in the depths of the ocean, where you can still find exotic creatures from legends. Legend says that there is a ""NET"" at the bottom of the sea, but no one knows who created it. Only those who have gone to the ocean's depths have touched a soft tentacle, and understand how wondrous it is."
