Explanation:
Je n’avais jamais vu ce “proverbe” mais il est effectivement largement utilisé dans les publications ayant trait aux accidents hypothermiques. Cité en anglais même dans les articles français.
Je ne pense pas qu’il y ait un équivalent “établi” mais la traduction utilisée dans ce livre me semble assez élégante.

qu’il serait possible de remplacer par ..... réchauffé la personne si le mot victime n’est pas trop approprié à ton contexte.

here are many case reports to indicate that survival from accidental hypothermia occurs, even with prolonged CPR and downtimes. From this comes the often heard, “nobody is dead until they are warm and dead” – essentially meaning that patients should not be considered dead before warming has been provided (Vanden Hoek et al. 2010).

les Anglos Saxons citent fréquemment comme base de la prise en charge, l’adage : « Nobody is dead until warm and dead », littéralement : « Personne n’est mort avant d’être chaud et mort ». Ce qui signifie que ce type de victimes ne devrait jamais être considéré comme morte avant d’avoir été correctement réchauffé. La littérature est riche de publications faisant état de victimes hypothermes ayant survécu après une prise en charge énergique donnant ainsi raison à l’adage.
