Je ne suis pas spécialiste d'entomologie ni d'anatomie mais "cornua" est le pluriel du mot latin "cornu", emprunté tel quel en anglais, qui veut dire "corne".
D'après des références trouvées, on peut utiliser "cornes" pour le capitulum d'une tique. Sinon, protubérance ou excroissance, peut-être ?
