English term or phrase: check out

NOT-ENGAGED employees are essentially "checked out" They're sleepwalking through their- workday, invirtiendo tiempo -- pero no energía o pasión -- en su trabajo.

Gracias!

Explanation:

Sentido figurado:
checked out= not engaged
checked out = sleepwalking through their workday
checked out = putting time but not energy or passion into their work
