اس اصطلاح کے لغوی معنی تو "بھرتی کے الفاظ" ہونگے، جیسے آپ نے سنا ہوگا کہ فلاں شاعر کا وہ شعر بھرتی کا معلوم ہوتا ہے۔ لیکن میرا خیال ہے کہ "جملہ معترضہ" اس اصطلاح کے لئے بہترین ترجمہ ہوگآ، حالانکہ جملہ معترضہ کا استعمال دوسری جگہوں اور معانی کے لئے کیا جاتا ہے، لیکن میرے خیال سے اس اصطلاح کے لئے بھی بہتر ترجمہ وہی ہوگا۔

In this context you may use رائیگاں الفاظ یا لاحاصل آوازیں. Here I have changed 'Words' into 'Voice'. And in this context 'Word' should be translated as 'Voice'.
If you translate the 'Words' as 'Voice', there are several words to represent Filler, I think it will solve your problem.

Asker: I feel جملہ معترضہ is not a suitable word in this context. Here filler word means short, meaningless words (or sounds) we use to fill the little pauses that occur while we decide what we’re going to say next. They’re the ums and uhs and ers that litter our conversations whether we like it or not.
