colour shadow Explanation: the word in farsi is made of two parts: rang means colours, but makes the word a bit hard for translation is rendering the word "vareh" which by itself is a affix means "like". on the whole the word "rangvareh" means a shadow of colour, a hint of colour, here in its combination with kohan meaning i.e "old" can result in a translation like old colour shadows. As a poetic expression however this is a matter of artistic taste and you can choose another combination. |
