Can anyone translate assiette la plus à cabrer possible in English? Thank you

English translation:bring the nose up as far as possible
Explanation:
Assiette means trim, the plane's attitude in relation to the ground, but I think you can ignore it here.

cabrer
[+avion] to nose up
→ cette manoeuvre consiste à légèrement cabrer l'appareil quelques secondes avant de toucher la piste, afin d'adoucir l'atterrissage

neutral  Daryo: correct, but that's not the right technical term. // you can not "reinvent" other profession's long established jargon to suit your own preferences - if you want be a pilot or have anything to do with aviation you MUST know and use the right terms.

-> "Correct, but not right". That's funny. I'd ask you to explain the difference between correct and right, but I can't be bothered.

agree  Jeffrey Probst: Depends on the context: saying "a high pitch attitude" is the right technical term and would work in a written format. But if the information is intended for a flight crew, all the pilots I've worked with would say 'nose up' (escpecially in this context).

agree  awilliams: Agreed. Raising the nose to maximum pitch-up attitude (within the performance limitations of the aircraft). Might get as far as pitch protections on some types. I think Daryo has mistaken best angle of climb for best rate of climb? It's not about speed

pitch attitude for the best rate of climb

Explanation:
assiette - pitch attitude
la plus à cabrer possible en fonction des contraintes de performance - 'best rate of climb'
depending on craft performance and in fact a velocity.

Power constant = pitch gives a velocity.
Full power = adequate pitch permit to maintain the best rate of climb velocity.

neutral  awilliams: best rate of climb ≠ best angle of climb. You need best angle of climb in this scenario.// but I like your thinking!
