The inclined plates start to separate the mixture. Some oil rises to the top of the separator and the remainder of the particulates slide back down to the sludge hopper." The yumpu document from RGF Environmental refers to them as coalescing incline plates as well as incline plates, and the Oils Sands magazine refers to them as inclined plates. |
