This is from an article about marine biology and about collecting specimens from the sea.

It says:

Le banc de tri
Apre`s la remontée du filet, les bacs sont remplis d'un mélange d'animaux et parfois de vase. L'équipe se retrouve a` "la Criée" un conteneur specialement aménagé non loin du quai ou` se trouve le banc de tri.

I get that this is a place where they sort through what is in the nets, but I can't think of what 'banc de tri' would be in English.
