Fisheries / fishing
French term or phrase: monter
Hello,

"Il y a pas mal de sailfish au large du Guatemala et l’on a toujours la possibilité d’en faire monter un dans les teasers."

"monter un dans les teasers", a teaser is a fish lure, so I don't really understand how to get the fish IN the teaser, maybe "after" the teaser...

Your suggestions are most welcome!

I think you need to assimilate "monter" with the idea of the fish in question being caught (caught up in) the teaser. That way it becomes easier to consider the French "monter". Perception and thus expression of direction in movement between French and English is quite different. Think about taking something out of the fridge in English but "dans le frigo" in French. Just to illustrate my point.
