I am having problems with "distillant" in this context.

"la diminution de la pression exercée par le fourreau dural sur l'espace épidural favorise le saignement veineux des plexus épiduraux. Durant l'intervention, devant ce type de saignement veineux distillant, difficile à maîtriser, certains appliquent de gels/mousses hémostatiques."

Could it be "persisting," "trickling," "oozing" or other....
