Hallo,

In einem Text über einen frz. Uhrmacher aus dem 18./19. Jhdt. habe ich ein "pignon de 12". Man findet zwar für "pignon" absolut im Uhrbereich nur "Trieb", man kann sich auch vorstellen, dass es 12 Zähne sind, nur finde ich irgendwo, dass ein "pignon de 12" entweder 11 oder sonst wieviele Zähne hat.

Kennt sich jemand aus?

Es ist ein allgemeiner Text, der Kontext ist: "Il s’agit par exemple de différents calibres de montres de poche d’une distribution particulière (l’ensemble des engrenages est établi avec un pignon de 12)."
