disagree  Peter Leeflang: Niet hetzelfde als Abstimmkonto. Het is een breder begrip en vereist ook actieve boeking van posten, dus laat niet automatisch saldo krediteuren zien, zoals Abst-Kto.

Note that this article shows the other connection in SAP between Abstimmkonto and Mitbuchkonto. I quote from it:

"Ein Abstimm-oder Mitbuchkonto ist ein Sachkonto, über das Nebenbuchkonten(Debitoren, Kreditoren und Anlagekonten) mit dem Hauptbuch verbunden sind. Ein Abstimmkonto wird vom System automatisch bebucht, wenn Sie einen bestimmten Geschäftfsvorfall bearbeiten und buchen."

Overigens kan het geen tussenrekening zijn. dat is in het Duits een Verwahrkonto (soms ook Transitkonto genoemd, alhoewel niet exact hetzelfde).
Een tussenrekening zou aktief boeken van posten op de tussenrekening vereisen, terwijl een Abstimmkonto dat niet doet, maar passief een saldo laat zien, in dit geval het saldo vvan iedere crediteur (het gaat immers om Omzetbelasting).

ps Ik begin echter steeds meer twijfels te krijgen dat Absty.-Kto. wel Abstimmkonto betekent. het is waarschijnlijk ene ander woord.
