Fluidisierungspilz

German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Engineering: Industrial / additive manufacturing, plastic and metal powders
German term or phrase: Fluidisierungspilz
It's in a list of parts, so little context. Managed to find a picture of one on the Internet: they are, as the name suggests, roughly mushroom-shaped. Have called them "fluidiser attachments" for the want of anything better.

disagree  Chris Pr: "Mushroom" as a noun is not an accepted engineering term...

disagree  D. I. Verrelli: The cited reference neither mentions nor relates to "fluidization"/"fluidisation", and merely contains valves with "mushroom"-shaped caps or handles. I see negligible evidence, so far, that the proposed term is used by native speakers of English.

disagree  D. I. Verrelli: Sorry, I think you may be confused about the meaning of "mesh" in the academic articles cited. They're not referring to a physical grid of metal/plastic/etc.. Rather, they're referring to the computational arrangement of subregions used for calculation.

neutral  D. I. Verrelli: "Fluidisation nozzle"/"Fluidization nozzle" is OK, but I am not at all convinced, yet, that "mushroom nozzle" is a term used by native speakers. https://www.bing.com/search?q=+"mushroom nozzle" fluidisatio... Can optionally prefix "mushroom-shaped".

disagree  Kartik Isaac: As you stated, only one term should be allowed ;)
