bonds repurchased/redeemed in the market Explanation: I have not run across this term before, but this is what Zahn indicates ("securities repurchased, bonds redeemed in the market"). So it seems that your accounting manual is saying that when a company buys back some of its own bonds that are not traded in the market, they should be given the same (accounting) treatment as bonds that are traded in the market. |
