"Die Einstufung moderner, kommerzieller Produkte im Gesundheitsbereich ist in heutiger Zeit nicht mehr eindeutig, wie das Arzneimittelrecht mit seiner Einstufung als Präsentations- bzw. Funktionsarzneimittel vorgibt.
Dabei werden grundsätzlich 2 Arten von Arzneimitteln unterschieden.
Funktionsarzneimittel sind Arzneimittel, die aufgrund ihrer Wirkung physiologische Funktionen beeinflussen.
Die Bezeichnung der Arzneimittel erfolgt nach der Funktion.
Präsentationsarzneimittel bezeichnen dagegen Arzneimittel, deren Verwendung der Heilung oder der Prävention menschlicher Krankheiten dient.

I'm not sure whether this is nonsense or whether Präsentationsarzneimittel and Funktionsarzneimittel actually exist as different concepts of pharmaceuticals. Can anybody help? It would be much appreciated it. Thanks in advance.
