Me he encontrado con la palabra «austernartig» en el siguiente contexto:

"... einen Geruch verursacht, der als „austernartig“ beschrieben wird."

Por más vueltas que le doy y consultas que he hecho, siempre llego a la conclusión de que sencillamente es «olor a ostra».

La información adicional de la que dispongo indica que algunas personas lo consideran agradable y otras no. No conozco ninguna expresión alemana que tenga otra equivalencia diferente a lo que el texto dice literalmente.
