obligaciones hipotecarias Explanation: Una Anleihe no es cualquier préstamo, es una obligación. Las obligaciones las emite el Estado, los préstamos son privados. "Hipoteca" como tú has puesto (o préstamo hipotecario) sería "ein durch Grundschuld (oder hypothekarisch) gesichertes Darlehen" kurz "Hypothekendarlehen". Así que, yo diría: "La Reserva Federal de EEUU tiene la intención de continuar su programa de compra de 1.200 mil millones de USD para obligaciones hipotecarias hasta marzo de 2010." |

Títulos respaldados por hipotecas (MBS) Explanation: Hola, María. sin entrar en demasiados detalles, el texto se refiere al MBS Purchase Programme de la Reserva Federal de Estados Unidos (que es su nombre en español, no banco central ni nada por el estilo). El programa hacía a su vez referencia a la compra de títulos respaldados por hipotecas (MBS, por las siglas del inglés mortgage-backed securities). Con eso, creo que yo traduciría como: La Reserva Federal de Estados Unidos tiene previsto mantener su programa para la compra de títulos respaldados por hipotecas por un valor de 1,2 billones de dólares hasta marzo de 2010.
