A két héj (réteg) közt egy átszellőztetett légréteg helyezkedik el, hőszigeteléssel kiegészítve. 2.Egyhéjú melegtető (melegtetők) A komplett szerkezeti rétegrendben nincs átszellőztetett légréteg. Szerkezeti rétegrend kialakításuk szerint a lapostető lehet 1.Egyenes rétegrendű lapostető Egyenes rétegrendről akkor beszélünk, amikor is a hőszigetelés a vízszigetelés alatt helyezkedik el - ám ez a rétegrendi kialakítás többféle szempontból is kedvezőtlen.
