Nel manuale di una linea di calandratura per la produzione di foglia PVC, trovo questo termine 'guancette'.
Il cliente mi ha dato la seguente spiegazione, che capisco ma non conosco un termine preciso in olandese.

Trattasi di una coppia di dispositivi ("piastre sagomate") poste tra due cilindri tangenti. Il loro profilo "copia" il profilo dei cilindri . Il materiale da lavorare è posto tra le due guancette che hanno funzione di contenimento.
In inglese lo traducono con " stock guides"
