There is a subsisting, annotated entry of the marriage to ... Explanation: Noting of a foreign certificate of marriage means the children born in Italy and previously are legitimate. Obiter, the Italian system is superior to the English one where such a noting is just not possible. I have tried it myself in person. An English clerical worker at the Family Division of the High Court in Central London: 'it would be for the court to decide whether the marriage is recognised as a valid one and child born of the marriage is legit...'.
