Latin term or phrase: decubitus
The context is: 'cum defecto osseo steomielitis calcanei 1 sin decubitus reg calcanei sin'. 'Osseo steomielitis' is clearly enough for 'osteomyelitis' and 'sin' for 'sinistri'. Buty 'decubitus' has me stumped. I'm not even sure whethr 'decubitus' is a real word in Latin.

Again, I should genuinely appreciate any help that someone might offer.

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
agree  Richard McDorman: Yes ("lying down" would also be acceptable). Decubitus is formed from de + cubitus (literally, "resting on one's elbow"), and is related to decumbere ("to lie down").
