TKN Explanation: NKJELD refers to TKN (Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen), measured with the Kjeldahl method. However, the HU puzzles me, as it could have a number of meanings (as far as I know). And without more information, I am unable to decipher that one :o) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 9 hrs 44 mins (2003-08-19 19:27:47 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- HU - habitat unit HU - hydrologic unit HU - heat unit HU - unusable These are some instances where HU have been used in nitrogen contexts, although I suspect \"heat unit\" might be worth looking into in your case.
