Invitation to tender Explanation: When I was in the electronics industry, the usual term was "Invitation to tender" (ITT), although RFP was occasionally used. I don't remember RFT being used. I agree with Chris that these terms are used interchangeably however. I advise looking at what UK or US procurers in a similar industry to your customer, use.
