¡Salve!

Supongo que se trata de una expresión que significa "paso a paso", "despacio"... pero no lo puedo validar.

El contexto: "Aqui a passo!" que es lo que le decía don Pedro a su caballo cuando pasaba por un arenal cuando iba a visitar a doña Inés, por le que se lugar en cuestión paso a denominarse "Paço"
