Spanish term or phrase: envíos SNMP
Hi all,

I'm struggling with how to translate 'envíos SNMP'. It's in relation to an airport database system I can't quite placemy finger on what is meant by the word 'envíos' in this context. I've done some research and the closest term I can find is 'SNMP traps' but I don't think this is right.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the sentence for context:

'Las funcionalidades de notificación deberán incluir notificaciones vía email, busca, a través de red y envíos SNMP a un Sistema de monitorización de nivel superior.'

Thanks in advance

"SNMP notifications" could also work, as someone mentioned in the discussion. The "messages" described here could be notifications, alerts, requests, responses… etc.

"All SNMP messages are transported via User Datagram Protocol (UDP). The SNMP agent receives requests on UDP port 161. The manager may send requests from any available source port to port 161 in the agent. The agent response is sent back to the source port on the manager.

agree  Robert Carter: I think "notification" is a particular type of message, isn't it? Message seems more generic to me, as does "envíos".
