Spanish term or phrase: martillo de minero
Hello,

Does anybody now if the correct translation for martillo de minero is simply miner's hammer?
I need to translate a descrition of tools found in a Bronze Age archaeological site and I know that martillo de herrero translates as fuller but I can't find martillo de herrero anywhere.

I would really appreciate your help. I can't give you a sentence for context because the term appears in a chart under the description of tools.

The atrget audience is academic so I have to make sure I find the right term.

Thanks in advance

mining hammer
Explanation:
The article in the link is an in-depth scholarly article relating to Bronze Age mining. Throughout the article, the different types of hammers are globally described as "mining hammers". There is a subdivision according to the specific function of the hammers, but without seeing a drawing or a specific functional description, it is impossible to know to what type of mining hammer your article refers. If your text describes the specific mining function of your "martillo de minero" you will find a name for it in this article. But if the text is about generic "martillos de minero" then "mining hammer" would be the ideal translation and avoids the use of the possessive noun.
