At a molecular level people / we are more microorganism than human Explanation: A suggestion for phrasing. "Molecularly" may exist but I think "at a molecular level" would be more natural. In English I would not put a comma after the initial adverbial phrase, though some would. And for the other bit I would do it as indicated, in rather the same way as you might say "more dog than human". I think "people" is OK, or you could put "we". That's a stylistic question, largely, and I would want to decide it from the context. An example of my suggested phrasing for the last part, from a doctor's blog: "Therefore, it can be said that we are far more microorganism than human." http://www.richroll.com/podcast/robynne-chutkan-microbiome/ |
