Spanish term or phrase: Considerar
Hi all. I am translating this text and I keep noticing an interesting use of the verb "considerar." I have not seen it use this was before and am wondering if you can explain it to me (or offer a translation/synonym). Spanish to English. I have included the original Spanish as examples/context and my attempt at a translation in English.

Example 1:

Para XXX, el cuidado del medioambiente es parte de su estrategia de sustentabilidad. Por esta razón, YYY considera la incorporación de las más modernas tecnologías que permitirán una mayor eficiencia en el desempeño ambiental de la instalación, así como la generación de energía limpia y renovable.

At XXX, protecting the environment is part of our sustainability strategy. For this reason, YYY (looks to incorporate/looks at incorporating?) the most modern technology which will allow the facility to increase efficiency regarding its environmental performance and generate clean, renewable energy.

Example 2:

YYY considera la detención de la línea 1, la más antigua de XXX, y la construcción de la Línea 3, que contará con una capacidad de 1.560.000 toneladas anuales, permitiendo un aumento en la producción de celulosa del complejo, alcanzando la producción de 2.100.000 toneladas.

YYY (takes into account/compensates for?) the closure of line 1, XXX oldest line, and the construction of line 3, which will have a capacity of 1,560,000 tons annually, allowing the complex to increase its cellulose production to 2,100,000 million tons.

disagree  Victoria Monk: You need to deem something something - Es decir: He deems + IT + NECESSARY - like what he thinks about something. In this example above, they are not saying what they think about it, just that they are thinking about it.

I don't quite see the problem. The verb "to consider" is quite common in terms of "to think carefully about something", "to contemplate", etc.

At XXX, ... For this reason, YYY considers the incorporation of the most modern technologies that will allow a greater efficiency in the environmental performance of the installation, as well as the generation of clean and renewable energy.

YYY considers the stoppage (you have closure) of Line 1, ..., in the pulp production (you have used cellulose - but I think "pulp" is more common) ... of 2,100,000 tons.

-> Seriously? However, you want to word it, instead of being a pain in the ***, but the point is, some form to the verb "consider" as opposed to the Asker's suggestions and instead of picking on me, why not comment on "to deem"?
