Repudiation Explanation: "This functionality is used for 'Rebill' or 'One Click' payment. Do not forget to make sure to send a confirmation Email to the customer each time you rebill his card, to avoid payment repudiation and chargeback." https://documentation.lemonway.com/en/directkit/money-in-%3A... "The method also includes receiving (and subsequently forwarding) either a payment authorization or a payment repudiation responsive to the communication from the user by way of the authenticating device." https://patents.justia.com/patent/9020859 "Consequently, merchants who accept credit and debit payments via SSL are treated according to MOTO (mail-order/telephone-order) rules – meaning that merchants take the risk that the consumer may repudiate the transaction." https://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.20... I hope this helps. Good luck! |

rejection/denial Explanation: (a) A payment order is rejected by the receiving bank by a notice of rejection transmitted to the sender orally, electronically, or in writing. A notice of rejection need not use any particular words and is sufficient if it indicates that the receiving bank is rejecting the order or will not execute or pay the order. Denied: If your payment was denied, it means that the recipient chose not to accept it. You may be able to find out why on the Activity page. A payment can also show "denied" when a card payment is attempted, but is declined by the card issuer. |

Dispute (a charge or a transaction) Explanation: What comes to my mind with "desconocer el cobro" is that situation in which you are a victim of debit or credit card fraud. At least, I have heard that expression only in those particular situations. If that happens, you can dispute that credit card charge (or that credit card transaction) to avoid being held accountable for an unauthorized purchase. This same term is also used on the official website of the Bank of America and of Citibank. Apart from being used on those websites, this expression also appears on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's Glossary of Financial Terms. Another possible equivalent could be "report unauthorized charges", which is used in several official websites, such as PayPal and Google Payments Center Help. However, I do agree with the rest. More context is needed as it could be about a non-fraudulent transaction. Hope this helps. Sources: Bank of America: https://www.bankofamerica.com/help/how-to-dispute-a-charge/#...
