Explanation:
Those were just work boots that were issued to students or city workers that were sent to work in the sugar cane harvest (zafra). I recall that some of them were like a sort of rough hide finish. Like a coarse suede in dark brown.

Those were just work boots that were issued to students or city workers that were sent to work in the sugar cane harvest (zafra). I recall that some of them were like a sort of rough hide finish. Like a coarse suede in dark brown.
