La persona es de Colombia y cuenta que le suelen preparar distintos platos para su cumpleaños, como por ej: una mamona, carne oreada, etc.
Encontré lo siguiente en cuanto a ''carne oreada'': orear carne no consiste simplemente en ponerla al aire para que se refresque, sino que comienza por cortarla de una manera determinada, adobarla y esperar a que el sol, el viento y el humo se combinen con los pasos previos para obtener un resultado particular.

¿Hay algún término específico para este plato?

La opción de patinba es buena, pero agrego esta porque «air-drying» me parece más cercano al original «orear».
