Spanish term or phrase: Protección aceitosa-seca
Hello, I am translating a list of items for a catalogue, some of which are single words with little or no explanation, among these is the term 'Protección aceitosa-seca' . The only explanation that is given for it is that it is a characteristic of electrical appliances. I have searched for an equivalent online, and although the term seems to be commonly used for a feature in the product description of kettles in Spanish, I can find no exact equivalent it in English. The nearest thing I can find relating to kettles in English is 'boil-dry protection'. Does anyone have any idea about whether I am missing something or if it should be translated into English as 'boil-dry protection'?

English translation:boil-dry protection
Explanation:
I think the English "boil" has been misunderstood as "oil" and mistranslated. The Spanish phrase appears on lots of sites, all referring to kettles. If I'm correct, it's funny that this error has been perpetuated so many times.

The term is the seventh item on the list of specifications on the bottom lefthand side.
