Estoy con Muriel. Interpretaría primero el texto original antes de traducir. Por ejemplo;
Somos conscientes de la importancia de que este proyecto no sea liderado por cualquiera [sea liderado por alguien especial] y del reto que supone encontrar a alguien capaz de break ground y think outside the box [encontrar a alguien con una visión no tradicional, capaz de break ground...].

Aunque no bien expresado en castellano, diría que la intención de quien habla es la de contraponer el pensamiento más tradicional (alguien con una forma de pensar tradicional) a la idea necesaria de alguien capaz de break ground y think outside the box.

I think the speaker got tangled up in negatives and the result didn't turn out well. This is what I think they meant to say: 'We realize that not anyone can lead this process. You aren't going to find people with a more traditional mindset who are willing break the mold and think outside the box.' In other words, 'You won't find the right fit unless you look for people who are willing to break the mold and think outside the box.' It's up to you to decide how far you want to digress from the original text, because the original doesn't make much sense.

With great respect you need to look again at "We realize the importance that not anybody may lead this process"
This is simply not natural English and it may be wise for you to employ a proofreader.
