"pellonera" (padded saddle cushion) makers (OR saddle makers)
Explanation:
All the "pelloneras" I see are leather padded cushioning for the saddle.

So, if this was an occupation you could say "pellonera" (saddle cushion) maker to be specific. These days we'd probably just say "saddle maker" or "tack maker" but in bygone days sometimes craftspeople carried out specific work or trades.

neutral  Yvonne Gallagher: You have given a translation for "pellón", not "pellonera" the term asked. And "Blankets under the sheepskin saddle" is completely wrong as it's NOT a sheepskin saddle!

The most popular style of work saddle is called rigged. The rigging used to hold the saddle on the horse is the only leather added to the tree. A pellonera is used to help cushion the rider. With minimal leather, the rigged saddle requires less cleaning time to keep in good condition. Other saddles which have a work tree completely covered with leather are called work-show saddles.

Work saddles that do not have skirts use a leather pad (pellonera) as a seat cushion. The pellonera can also be used for added comfort over saddles with skirts. To give saddles a better appearance, the pommel and cantle are sometimes covered with fine leather.

The pelloneras that I have seen on links do not have sheepskin, but rather are made exclusively with leather. Sheepskin pads used under saddles are often used and referred to as numnahs (British English).
