Social Sciences - Medical: Health Care / Names of social services institutions
Spanish term or phrase: seguro social
Hello everyone. I'm hoping someone can help me out with this small section of a translation. They are options given to respondents of a reproductive health survey where one of the questions is, "A donde iria Ud. para obtener el metodo anticonceptivo? three of the options are:
-caja compensacion
-seguro social
-caja nacional

the possible translation I have is,
-family welfare fund
-social security
-national welfare fund

The survey is produced by the Colombian government, so I'm hoping someone with experience with the Colombian dialect or these institutions in Colombia can provide some clarity as to what their equivalents would be. I'm hesitant to use social security for the second one because I know that the "seguro social" in Mexico, for example, provides different services than what social security does in the United States, where my client is based. As far as the other two, after some research, I'm thinking they may be social programs that may not have equivalents in the U.S, but they do seem to be some kind of welfare funds (however, I may be wrong).

Any help is appreciated.

Best wishes.
