cloud characteristics/properties Explanation: I'm not sure that there is a single word in English which corresponds to this; "cloud characteristics" or "cloud properties" ought to cover the definition given. See also this dictionary entry: nefelismo m. (meteorol.) characteristics of cloud formations http://books.google.com/books?id=yz1sBL9ZZdAC&pg=RA3-PA793&l... (p. 793) Presumably it comes from Nephele in Greek mythology - cf. eolico (wind) from Aeolus. |
