Bio
My name is Atara Moscovich and I am an English-Hebrew translator recognized by ITA (Israel Translators Association), a member of the Israeli Writers Association, and also the owner and the manager of the multi-lingual and multi-disciplinary translations agency, "Lilach Translations" (www.lilach-targum.com).

I have a BA degree in literature and art history, and an MA degree with distinction in art history, specializing in Italian Renaissance art.

I have a considerable experience in translating academic materials in arts and art history (especially visual arts - painting, sculpture, architecture and design, but also cinema and theater), humanities and social studies, i.e. - education, sociology, psychology, history, archaeology, and more.

Besides, I translated TV shows in a wide range of fields, from comedies to cooking and traveling shows, and I also tanslated commercial and advertizing materials for several firms and press releases in a wide range of fields. Recently I had the pleasure of translating several short stories.

I recently translated short stories by Sharon Butala (published) and Dave Margoshes (in press), and the Guinness World Records Book (entire 2016 edition, participationg in 2014-2015 editions). Right now, I am working on 2017 edition.

I am also an experienced journalist and linguistic editor. Some of my articles (in Hebrew) dealing with arts and artists can be found on my website,
http://www.lilach-targum.com/?categoryId=43278.

I also translate press releases about art from world's leading museums and auction houses, on artportal website, www.artportal.co.il. (specific references to my translations can be found on
http://www.lilach-targum.com/?categoryId=99561

My greatest professional dream is to translate more literay materials (fiction) and art history books.
