Hello! My name is Nerea and I like everything related to languages and translation. I translate from English and Basque into Spanish (traditional sort). I studied Modern Languages and Management and in the last year of my degree I realized that I wanted to become a prefessional translator, so I have completed several courses in order to broaden my knowledge in this field. In addition to the experience I have gained through training and volunteering, privately I have also translated instruction manuals, recipes and knitting patterns. Nowadays, Scheherezade Surià is my mentor and thanks to her I have been able to get into literary translation (novels and comic books, so far). In the future I would like to devote myself to AVT and videogame localization as well. In my spare time I like to read, watch movies and TV shows, and play videogames (now from the perspective of a translator).
