Bio

Taught English in secondary school (Senior Teacher's Diploma)

Joined the iron & steel and mining industry as technical translator in 1985

Retrenched Aug. 1999 when company was sold to Mittal

Went private as a full-time freelance. Worked regularly for two UK agencies and a few European agencies, covering a fairly wide field of technical and human sciences texts.

Editing work has included postgrad theses/dissertations, journal articles (mostly on education) and aviation accident reports for publication on the internet.
