Bio
Video-games!
The first reason of my learning English as a child, and a passion still growing strong to this day, video-games have always been part of my life. I consider them as full cultural (and sometimes literary) works of art, and take great care in translating style as well as meaning, to say nothing of humor of course.
My experience so far has included mobile, console and PC gaming, with casual, Indie and AAA titles. Here are some examples: The Silent Age, Torment: Tides of Numenera, Wasteland 2, Galactic Civilizations 3, Hacknet, Maiden: Legacy of the Beast, and many others.

Science fiction!
With a Master in English Literature, people definitely do not expect my specialty to be genre fiction, but it is. Science-fiction, horror tales, fantasy novels and comics have played a very important role in the construction of our modern societies. Entertaining as they can be, they are also immensely interesting as social and cultural pointers. I have a lot of experience in this particular field, both theoretical and practical. I have written two thoroughly researched and very well received papers on science-fiction and pulp fiction which can be found here.
I have experience in the translation of comics (X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, etc.), with more than fifty books translated so far; tabletop roleplaying games, with the science fiction game Eclise Phase, with six books totaling around one million words translated and with parts of the core book of the Werewolf: the Apocalypse line; a horror novel and short stories by Charles Stross (including the 2014 Hugo award winner for Best Novella "Equoid") and the short story "Perfect Match", by the only person who has won the three main science fiction awards in the same year, Ken Liu.

Philosophy!
I do not consider video-games and science fiction as low-brow art forms, and like to read and play with them with a specific mind-frame. Trained by Professor Thomas Dutoit, American expert on French philosopher Jacques Derrida, most of my readings are heavily influenced by these two interesting philosophical and literary currents that are Deconstruction and post-structuralism. To say it more clearly: I do not just read, I prefer to decipher.
