Source text - English Pax Christi International recognises the 70th anniversary of two historic events which are marked this year: the establishment of the State of Israel and the Nakba (Arabic for catastrophe), the expulsion and fleeing of more than 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and the destruction of over 400 Palestinian towns and villages which occurred to make way for the new state. These two events are forever interconnected. Pax Christi members and partners will once again stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, especially those who after seven decades remain refugees, as they mark this solemn and sad anniversary of the Nakba on 15 May 2018.
Translation - Spanish Pax Christi International conmemora el 70º aniversario de dos acontecimientos históricos que destacan este año: la creación del Estado de Israel y la Nakba (catástrofe, en árabe), la expulsión y la huida de más de 750.000 palestinos de sus hogares y la destrucción de unas 400 ciudades y pueblos palestinos para dar paso al nuevo estado. Estos dos acontecimientos están relacionados para siempre. Los miembros y participantes de Pax Christi manifestarán una vez más su solidaridad con el pueblo Palestino, especialmente con aquellos que, tras siete décadas, siguen siendo refugiados, conmemorando el solemne y triste aniversario de la Nakba el 15 de mayo de 2018.

I love languages and reading, that's why I studied English Philology in Seville, Spain and later finished a Master's Degree in Translation of Literature in English. I also started a PhD in literature which I also hope to finish. I have translated quite a different amount of documents into Spanish, my mother tongue, but my passion is translating novels so that other people may have the possibility to enjoy the reading experience of foreign works in their own language.
I have experience teaching Spanish and English to people all ages and I live currently in Germany, a country I always liked and whose language I find fascinating. I come from Spain and I am very creative, hard-working and reliable. Can't wait to start translating for you!
