The Chiesa di Santa Maria della Concezione, above the cemetery, contains a gorgeous -St Michael- by Reni (in the first chapel to the right of the door) and Pietro da Cortona's -St Paul's Sight Being Restored-.

Does any of you know the German name of this painting? I couldn't find it on the internet nor in travel guides about Rome. Thanks in advance.

Ja, ich würde eher "Saulus" als "Paulus" erwarten - konnte aber ebenfalls nichts finden (im Englischen übrigens auch nicht viel außer dem Text, den Du vermutlich übersetzen willst...).

Kann auch sein dass der deutsche Titel von Saulus spricht, nicht von Paul oder Paulus.

Daher wäre es wohl nicht ratsam, diesen Titel zu nehmen. Ich habe mich jetzt einfach für eine wörtliche Übersetzung entschieden: Das Augenlicht des Apostels Paulus wird wiederhergestellt."

Sehr schwierig. Konnte nur etwas Information unter dem Namen 'Pietro Berrettini da Cortonadas' finden.
